Open House: Columbus Division of Fire, Firefighters’ Memorial

2026 Open House following the Columbus Division of Fire, Firefighters’ Memorial Ceremony

On Sunday, October 4th, 2026, hundreds of firefighters and community members will gather near the intersection of Marconi Boulevard and Broad Street for the annual Columbus Division of Fire, Firefighters’ Memorial Ceremony. United, they will stand before the monument and its eternal flame that honors the men and women of the Division who have answered their last alarm.

This year’s ceremony will remember and honor division members who have passed away over the past year. This annual tradition stands as a testament to the dedication of those who served the Columbus Division of Fire and the enduring legacy they leave behind.

Parking & Shuttle Information
Due to limited parking at the memorial site, shuttle service will be provided from the Central Ohio Fire Museum (260 N. 4th Street) beginning at 12:30 p.m. Shuttles will run to and from the ceremony location.
